Description:
The Alzheimer Bulgaria Association (ABA) is engaged in preventive, organisational, informational, and other activities aimed at providing support for people living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, as well as for their families and caregivers.
The organisation’s main goal is to raise public awareness about the importance of issues related to Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, as well as to advocate for elderly people and people living with dementia.
ABA is a member of Alzheimer Europe, Eurocarers, and the global initiative Dementia Friends. Members of the organisation take part in Alzheimer Europe’s Working group of people with dementia, as well as the Dementia carers working group, contributing to the development of new projects and activities with their experience.
