Sustainability and transferability
The pilot uses educational resources that can be made available online to other healthcare organisations. Wider implementation will require dissemination through conferences, seminars and media. The approach shares elements with national strategies for dementia prevention, Alzheimer’s disease and healthy ageing, creating opportunities to integrate its methods into future national initiatives and action plans.
Health literacy
The pilot is expected to contribute to health literacy by improving understanding of dementia, risk factors, early identification and care. A fuller assessment will be possible after implementation.
