Awareness about dementia through audiovisual materials

Lead entity: Consejería de Salud y Atención a la Dependencia – Junta de Extremadura (JUNTAEX)

The pilot consists of a comprehensive dementia awareness intervention combining audiovisual production and in-person sensitisation activities. The audiovisual material will be the central resource for structured sensitisation sessions complemented by participatory activities, guided reflection and educational materials. It aims to shift perceptions from a purely clinical or dependency-based view towards a model emphasising autonomy, dignity and everyday community support.
