JADE Health launches its second newsletter, highlighting 18 months of progress across Europe

JADE Health is pleased to announce the launch of its second newsletter, published as the Joint Action reaches an important milestone: 18 months of collaboration, activities and progress across Europe.

This new edition presents the main achievements from the last six months and reflects the continued commitment of the JADE Health consortium to reducing the burden and stigma of dementia and other neurological disorders through prevention, early detection and holistic care.

Coordinated by FUNDESALUD, JADE Health brings together 47 partners from 17 countries. This European network continues to work collaboratively to improve dementia prevention, strengthen health literacy, support early detection, promote better care pathways and contribute to more inclusive and dementia-friendly societies.

The newsletter highlights several key developments, including the growth of the JADE Health stakeholder network, the project’s increasing online presence and the launch of its official Instagram channel, @jadementia. It also underlines the more than 450 communication actions carried out during the first 18 months of the Joint Action.

Readers will also find updates on JADE Health participation in national and international conferences, as well as two key workshops focused on evaluation and sustainability. These activities have supported knowledge exchange, coordination and reflection on the future impact of the project.

Awareness-raising and stigma reduction are also central themes of this edition. The newsletter includes activities such as the Dementia Awareness Questionnaire, the Asturias awareness-raising pilot with young people, Malta’s National Dementia Conference and the “Alzheimer: Overcoming Myths” event held in Gijón.

With this second newsletter, JADE Health invites partners, stakeholders and the wider public to discover the latest achievements of the Joint Action and to stay connected with its upcoming activities.
