Stronger Together! Demonstrate Your Commitment to Mental Health Take Part in the Events of the European Mental Health Week!

Mental Health Europe (MHE) is Europe’s largest independent mental health NGO in charge of coordinating the European Mental Health Week (EMHW), a pan-European initiative that will take place from 4 to 8 of May 2026, offering various in-person and online events to challenge stigma, advocate for rights-based mental health care, and address the social and political factors shaping wellbeing.

The theme of the 2026 Mental Health Week is "Stronger Together: Prioritise Mental Health in a Changing Europe" with the aim to focus on collective connection, resilience, and hope to seek better possibilities with the involvement of both the local and wider community, expressing solidarity, and share a common purpose.

Stronger Together is a call for unity in a historical moment of division and uncertainty: steady, human-centred, and hopeful to remind us of what brings us together.

As JADE Health is one of the 20 flagship initiatives supported from the EU4Health programme of the European Commission, we place strong emphasis on improving prevention, early detection and management of neurological disorders and reducing health inequalities. We are committed to address the needs of vulnerable population.

We invite our project partners, members of our stakeholder network, organisations as well as ordinary people to join us to express the need of care, connection and dignity! We all need to move forward hand in hand, creating environments where everyone can thrive – at a time when we need it most.

Events of the EMHW will create a platform for discussing mental health issues, and will highlight the need for action, including disseminating reliable, fact-checked and accessible mental health information that supports individuals’ autonomy and promotes structural change to combat stigma and discrimination.

This is a great opportunity to share, learn, educate and demonstrate our commitment to mental health, organise or participate roundtables, conversations, panel discussions or workshops!
