Let´s learn, share and grow together!

COMFORTage, a Horizon EU funded project that puts the community at the centre of its approach in contributing to the global de-stigmatisation of dementia has become a member of our expanding stakeholder network.

We are pleased to deepen our cooperation with COMFORTage that involves 39 organisations from 12 countries, including regional public authorities & care providers, research institutes, SMEs and Start-Ups as well as community & patient groups.

As JADE Health is committed to citizen empowerment, and shaping sustainable, inclusive health systems for Europe’s ageing populations, we strongly believe that our cooperation with COMFORTage will enhance early intervention, prevention, and will foster management of dementia. Our united efforts will focus on providing support for individuals living with dementia with the aim to reduce health inequalities and elevate societal awareness against stigma.

The main goals of COMFORTage (CCF) aim to address frailty and dementia through technology, aligning with the European Commission's silver deal initiative, and the recently established Community Forum serves a collaborative network designed to sustain and amplify the project's impact.

The project also represents a pioneering effort to address the complex challenges of aging populations, dementia and frailty with the aim to improve the quality of life for individuals while advancing the field of personalized healthcare, intervention and prevention via building a pan-European framework for community-based prevention, as well as elaboration of intervention strategies to facilitate effective lifestyle changes.

The above detailed aims are aligned and show strong synergies with our Joint Action’s mission, as JADE Health also supports individuals living with dementia by fostering early intervention, prevention and management of dementia.

We are rather grateful that Luc Nicolas, exploitation manager from CCF, participated and kept a very meaningful presentation at our recent online communication workshop “Optimising Outreach: Communication and Dissemination Strategies for Dementia-related projects” organised 20th May 2025, honouring the European Mental Health Week.

COMFORTage has recently published its INNOVATION REPORT – which contains lessons learnt from 23 previous projects related to dementia and frailty:  .The report aligns tech with frailty and dementia care by promoting adaptable, user-focused solutions.

We look forward to our next collaboration with #COMFORTageCommunityForum that serves a collaborative network designed to sustain and amplify the project's impact providing a series of webinars in cooperation with the European Health Telematics Association (EHTEL)  . 26th September, 2025, JADE Health will be one of the keynote speakers at the 3rd webinar organised with the title: "Understanding the political (and financial) choices made by policymakers in supporting patients and carers affected by dementia and identifying innovative public initiatives" Stay tuned, and be part of the conversation to transform dementia care!
