Our stakeholder network is expanding

We are pleased to welcome the European Brain Council (EBC) as a new stakeholder of JADE Health.

We strongly believe that bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders and key network players like the EBC in the Brain Area will help us to fulfil our mission to make an impact on improving services for the well-being of people living with Alzheimer´s and other dementias and seek ways together to elevate societal awareness of dementia by sharing the latest research findings, as well as providing targeted education to care professionals, relatives, and other key stakeholder organisations.

Addressing brainhealth requires a common action as well as a cross-sectoral approach from better digital literacy to stronger accountability for tech companies.

The European Brain Council (EBC) is a European network based in Brussels with a membership encompassing scientific societies, patient organisations, professional societies and industry partners. As a non-profit organisation, EBC´s main mission is to promote brain research with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of the millions of Europeans living with brain conditions, mental and neurological alike.

With the aim to speak with one voice, EBC stands as the platform to foster cooperation between its member organisations and other stakeholders, consistently promoting dialogue between scientists, industry and society.

Showcased by its growing portfolio of projects, research and policy papers, as well as events, EBC emphasises the importance of continued interaction with the European Institutions to build strong European health policies, raising awareness and improving knowledge on the brain and the repercussions of neurological and mental health conditions on society as a whole.

As a Joint Action, JADE Health is designed to integrate validated best practices and cost-effective interventions across EU Member States by implementing transnational pilot initiatives to enhance, complement and reinforce existing policies and programs, so we are convinced that our future collaboration with the European Brain Council is a major step in creating synergies among EU-funded European initiatives, and will help us to reduce the burden of dementia and other neurodegenerative disorders, by sharing innovative practices, new care models, state-of-the-art digital technologies and reduce stigma.

Dementia and other neurological diseases cause economic burden, calling for demanding policy action. Join us in the journey to make a difference!
