WP3 Evaluation Workshop
The WP3 Evaluation Workshop was held online on 20 April 2026, bringing together 37 participants, including Work Package leaders, under the coordination of the GermanCenterfor Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE). The workshop aimed to reflect on project progress, the evaluation framework, and to provide input for the final evaluation report in terms of strengths, challenges, and recommendations.
The session started with the presentation ofthe evaluationsurvey results, which confirmeda high levelof engagement, collaboration, and overall satisfaction among partners, while alsoidentifyingareas for improvement such as communication between Work Packages, time constraints, and participation in evaluation activities. An overview of the evaluation framework and KPIs was then presented, highlighting the importance of understanding progress not only in terms of outputs (activities and numbers), but also outcomes and long-term impact, including quality of life and sustainability.
Work Package leaders shared their progress, demonstratingstrong implementation across pilots, activities, and targets. Importantly, each Work Package has developed its own practical approaches to address challenges, including tailored coordination mechanisms, bilateral communication, and flexible solutions adapted to different contexts and timelines. The discussion confirmed that the project is functioning well in terms of implementation, witha high levelof activity and commitment across partners. At the same time, it highlighted opportunities to further strengthen collaboration by building on existing good practices and making them more visible and shared across Work Packages.
A key reflection was that, while outputs are progressing strongly, the next step is to further support the transition towards measurable impact. In this context, participants emphasized the importance of continuing to improve communication, coordination, and data collection in a structured and manageable way.The workshop also highlighted the growing importance of sustainability and the potential to position project results within the European Best Practice framework. Thisrepresentsan important opportunity for the project, not only to implement existing practices, but also to contribute new ones and ensure continuity beyond the project duration.
Overall, the workshop confirmed strong progress and commitment across the consortium, while identifying clear directions for further improvement, particularly in strengthening integration, enhancing visibility of results, and supporting long-term impact and sustainability.
