JADE Health and SEPAD Participated at the 11th National Alzheimer’s Congress (CEAFA) and the 15th Ibero-American Alzheimer’s Congress (AIB)
From 5th to 8th November 2025, the 11th National and Ibero-American Alzheimer’s Congress took place in Ibiza Spain, organized by the Spanish Alzheimer’s Confederation (CEAFA) under the theme “Breaking Barriers”
This year Ibero-American Alzheimer’s Congress presented the opportunity to transcend geographical barriers and unite two continents of Europe and Latin America, concentrating the best of international knowledge to provide training and strategies for global attendees.
The event was opened by Her Majesty Queen Sofía, and brought together over 500 professionals, caregivers, volunteers, and researchers with the aim to share knowledge, strategies and experiences related to Alzheimer's disease. The Congress also featured the participation of leading international organizations such as Alzheimer Europe and Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI).
JADE Health was present at the congress, represented by Fundesalud the coordinator of the JA, and its affiliated entity SEPAD. The event provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, fostering collaboration, generated practical insights, exchange of best practices and enhanced joint initiatives among medical professionals, researchers, advocates and affected families.
During the event, JADE Health presented a scientific poster that highlighted the project’s objectives and progress so far, highlighting or JA’s aims to provide a comprehensive, coordinated, and person-centred response to the challenges caused by dementia and neurodegenerative diseases.
JADE Health’s participation at this important congress has reinforced our commitment to improve the quality of life of individuals living with dementia including their families and caregivers, as well as fostering knowledge exchange among professional networks, which conduct research and innovative services in the social and healthcare field.
